If you had asked one year ago, I would have saved some tapes or
cd-rom's from my neighbors. I only saved some NEWS workstations. :)

BTW, you can find them in some auctions.

And did anybody ask to SONY?

I am also really interested in an NEWS-OS ISO ! My problem is that
my 3410 can not boot its old News boot disk. It stops on the
following message :

input your registration number for 0xcc66ea2 :

I guess this is because something is missing in the NVRAM (I had to
change it a few months ago).

I am really happy with netbsd, but I would also like to use NewsOS
again !

Usually when I post to the list I receive
a copy of my own post. But, recently
(specifically since I sent the message titled
"not boot for you! (Was: Re: HD size &
NWS-3710)"), I have not seen my own messages. On
the top of that, it seems some of the replies to
those messages are not making their way to my
mailbox. As an example, I have never received
Jürgen's reply to my message titled "NEWS-OS?" or
any replies to the first message I mentioned in
this paragraph (assuming there were any). Would
anyone have an idea of why that is happening?

Strictly speaking, NEWS-OS is not free OS so you need
a license to use it even for such obsolete software ;-p
